This policy explains what information GLA (Gulf Lead Automation) collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. It covers this website and the missed-call text-back service GLA runs for its business clients.
Who this applies to
- Callers: people who call one of GLA's business clients and may receive a text reply.
- Clients: businesses that use GLA's service.
- Website visitors: anyone who visits this site or contacts GLA.
Information collected
From callers: when you call a GLA client and the call isn't answered, the system receives your phone number, the time of the call, and any text messages you send in reply. Nothing else about you is collected.
From clients: business name, contact details, phone numbers and the information needed to set up and bill for the service.
From website visitors: whatever you choose to send by email or phone. This site doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking.
How information is used
- To send one text reply to a caller whose call to a GLA client went unanswered.
- To pass a caller's reply on to the business they called so the business can respond.
- To recognize returning callers so they aren't sent the same intro message repeatedly.
- To process opt-out requests.
- To operate, troubleshoot and bill for the service.
Text messaging
Texts are only sent to people who have just called a GLA client. Messages are customer-care replies, not marketing. Message frequency varies with how often you call, typically one message per missed call. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out, and you won't receive further texts from that number. Reply HELP for help, or contact GLA using the details below.
Sharing
Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in information are never sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Information is shared only:
- with the business you called, so they can respond to you;
- with service providers that run the system, such as the SMS carrier and automation platform, only as needed to deliver the service;
- when required by law.
Storage and retention
Caller numbers and message records are kept only as long as needed to run the service for the client, handle opt-outs, and meet legal or carrier requirements. Reasonable steps are taken to protect this information.
Your choices
You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP. To ask what information is held about you, or to request that it be deleted, email glaautomation9@gmail.com.
Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
